“I trained for 4 whole years to run 9 seconds. Some people don’t see results in 2 months and give up.”— Usain Bolt
This class has taught me many lessons and challenges beyond what I could have ever imagined. Just like training for a race, it has shown me the importance of perseverance ---- how to keep running through struggles, hardships, and even the disappointment of a failing grade. Though this class felt more like a marathon than a sprint, I've learned to never stop pushing forward. My first year hasn't been a walk in the park; it's been more like a run on the track. I've experienced the stop and go of friendships—gaining some while losing others—but I kept my momentum. Even when I faced setbacks, like when my foot was weakened, I refused to stop running. My journey at Morgan feels like a race, and I am determined to reach the finish line as long as I keep moving.
